Come ride Rich Mountain Road with Sailor and me during the 2026 Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion!
We took the yellow 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave up this beautiful one-way gravel road leading out of Cades Cove, Tennessee. You do not need a heavily modified Jeep to enjoy this adventure. Rich Mountain Road is vehicle-friendly, peaceful, and packed with spectacular Smoky Mountain scenery.
Along the way, we crossed one small creek and found plenty of places to pull over, enjoy the views, and stop for a picnic. This is not an extreme off-road trail. It is a relaxing mountain drive and a beautiful way to spend part of the day exploring the quieter side of Cades Cove.
Ride along with Sailor and me and see why Rich Mountain Road may be one of the best-kept scenic secrets in the Great Smoky Mountains!
