He is the previous senior analyst for Palestine/Israel and Economics of Conflict and the International Crisis Group, based in Ramallah. He currently serves as president of the board of Al-Shabaka; The Palestinian Policy Network and is a research fellow at the Centre for Humanities Research, University of The Western Cape.
