Body: Mahogany Neck: Mahogany neck with 1 11/16" wide nut, 12" radius, and rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays Pickups/Hardware: Two tar-back humbuckers (the neck position rates at 7.1kOhms and the bridge at 7.3k), three-way pickup selector switch, tone and volume controls (potentiometers date to 1976), and Gibson deluxe tuners Cosmetic Condition: The body looks fantastic, there's just a few very minuscule dings here and there and hardly any buckle rash on the back. The neck is still very glossy and clean and hardly has any dings or scratches on the back. The headstock just has a small ding on the top edge. This Explorer is in amazing shape! Playability: The strings are low, play great, and ring clearly from every fret. Modifications: The solder joints have been retouched and the lead from the switch has been spliced. Strap locks have been added.
