Facing extreme financial hardship and finding it impossible to secure outside employment due to the ongoing case, Sisters Ranitta, Ancita, and Alphy turned to tailoring to earn a living and maintain their independence. With the crucial backing of a support group (SOS/SIS) that suggested the name and designed the logo, they launched their own clothing label: "Stand By Me". Starting with handkerchiefs, they have expanded to crafting bags and embroidered nighties using donated sewing and embroidery machines.
