In this video I extend the lifespan of my X99 based Workstation by doing much needed maintenance and upgrades to it. This system has at least 3 more years of life left in it and with Windows 7 ESU being long dead in the water, I put Windows 10 Pro with an ESU license on it to extend this system's usable life to Q4 2028. This system is running 24/7 in production and doesn't get the adequate maintenance it should. I fully dust it out, re-paste all thermal compound, replace all the fans, etc. I also do some upgrades such as adding an additional 8TB of internal SSD storage and upgrading the GPU from an RTX 2060 to an RTX 4070. These upgrades will better prepare me for working with new 4K RAW footage off my newly acquired camera. When all is said and done, the system runs perfectly fine and performant like a brand new system. In 2029 I plan to build a replacement Workstation, but until then the X99 lives on!
