KILOZED - 2026 Q3 Update

The KILOZED project continues to evolve! In this 2026 Q3 project update, I take a look at several of the latest hardware and design changes to our modern reimagining of the Sinclair ZX81 and Timex Sinclair 1000. The result is a much cleaner top surface while retaining a secure mounting system for the keyboard assembly. Thank you @Spriteworx. I also show the new KILOZED badges designed for the top hatch of the case and introduce the new carrier board for the ZX-Wespi, bringing another important piece of the KILOZED hardware together. KILOZED is an ongoing retro-computing project built around the spirit of the original Sinclair ZX81 and Timex Sinclair 1000, combining custom PCBs, modern components, 3D-printed parts, and new hardware while preserving the character of the original machine.
