Blacka Plantation & Flask Edge Trig. A 6.23 Mile Circular Hike In The Peak District National Park.

Starting at the free car park near Hallfield Farm through Blacka Moor to Blacka Plantation Trig and then onwards to Flask Edge Trig with a couple of hydration stops. This circular hike was 6.23 miles. It was a glorious day (9th October 2023) with a rough temperature of 75f. I couldn't believe that in October, I'd be hiking in just a base layer. This was a very enjoyable and satisfying hike. No walls were vaulted, and no barbed wire climbed. But it is definitely starting to get boggy out there. You can still avoid the bog, but it won't be long until it's a bogfest out there. I hope you enjoy the hike as much as I did and remember to always......
