I take the day off work to go back to my mother's house and cook for our ancestors: fried spring rolls, bánh chưng, boiled chicken, and dishes made side by side with my mom. We light incense, we burn votive offerings, and we remember those who came before us. And by evening, four generations sit together under one roof — my grandmother, my parents, me, and my own children. In a life that's always rushing, these are the moments that matter most.
