I Photographed 750 Weddings — Here's Why I HATED It!

I photographed roughly 750 weddings over the course of 10 years, and let me tell you something: the wedding photography business wasn't exactly the dream job people think it is! Behind all the beautiful pictures, fancy dresses, and happy couples is a whole lot of stress, long hours, unrealistic expectations, and sometimes being treated like you're nothing more than a hired pair of hands. After years of dealing with the pressure and demands, I eventually decided I'd had enough. In this video, I'm sharing my honest, unfiltered thoughts about why I hated the wedding business, what it's really like working behind the scenes, and why I wouldn't go back to it today. Some wedding photographers absolutely love what they do, and good for them! But after my experience, I have a very different perspective. I'm just a random guy on the internet sharing stories from my life. You might agree with me, you might think I'm full of it, and that's perfectly fine.
