A first swimming lesson (swim lesson) video for toddlers: Peanut practises with a grown-up. Cold at first, then splash, blow bubbles and kick. Your child learns: a grown-up is always with you in and near water, the water is cold at first and then okay, and a first lesson is splashing, blowing bubbles and kicking with a grown-up holding you. Good for: the week before swimming lessons start · bath time practice · children who are unsure about water Words to say together: Grown-up · Cold · Splash · Bubbles · Kick For grown-ups: Peanut practises his first lesson with a basin, a bowl and a mat before the real pool. Practise the same at bath time: water on the face, splashing, blowing bubbles, kicking. The AAP and the RLSS are clear that a grown-up stays within arm's reach of a young child in or near water, every moment, even with armbands or a float: these help, they do not keep a child safe. Garden ponds and paddling pools are a real risk for under-fives: cover, fence or empty them. Swimming lessons can start after the first birthday. Every child is different. Chapters 0:00 Ooh, cold!
