Megan and Shane – “Jolene” (Dolly Parton Cover) | Live September 9th 2026

Few songs capture the fear of losing someone you love quite like Dolly Parton's “Jolene.” With its haunting melody, unforgettable lyrics, and raw vulnerability, “Jolene” is one of the greatest songs ever written. It's a song about love, insecurity, and the helpless feeling of knowing that someone else might hold the power to change your world. We had the incredible opportunity to perform this country classic on September 9 as part of a special tribute celebrating the legendary Dolly Parton. As songwriters ourselves, we've always admired Dolly's ability to take complicated emotions and turn them into something beautifully simple and universally relatable. Her songs are honest, deeply human, and timeless — everything we strive for in our own music. Performing “Jolene” was a special moment for us, and we're grateful to have shared the music with such wonderful musicians and an audience that appreciates the magic of great songwriting. We hope you enjoy our take on this iconic song!
