2 Railtours in One Day! The Journey Shrinker Intercity 125 HST Railtour + Clan Line 35028

Hello and welcome to this video. This video showcases 2 railtours / charter trains that were captured both on the same day with that day being on the 3rd of October 2026. For seeing both of the railtours I was happily joined by @2‪@20Jameshall_babyextra‬nd @The‪@The_Eastern_Railway_Enthusiast‬ a bit of the time as well. One of the railtours was organised by the Intercity 125 Group and that was one that did a return trip to Swansea and back to Paddingtion. That was a HST set in a 7 coach formation of Mk.3s, and consisted of 43025 and 43159 all in its new repainted Intercity 125 livery and that was to mark 50 years since the Class 43 HSTs were introduced in passenger service. This was also the first time in ages that a long formed HST has seen use on the mainline and the first time in a while since one has visited a London terminal. That was named the Journey Shrinker Railtour. That was seen at London Paddington and at Reading. The other Railtour in question was named Belmond: The Golden Age of Travel By Steam. That did a return trip to Folkestone from London Victoria and consisted of a Class 67 diesel locomotive, and a steam engine. The steam engine in question was 35028 Clan Line that was in honour of providing traction with luxury Mk.1 carriages sandwiched between the steam engine and the Class 67 locomotive. That was an experience to see.
