Rooted in early ghamaka concepts, the album explores the simultaneous use of multiple notes within a single raga, creating harmony and expanded musical textures in an Indian classical context. Through this approach, the album broadens the expressive scope of the raga, envisioning an Indian Symphony where tradition and imagination unite on a larger musical canvas. Thribinna reflects Shri Ganesh Rajagopalan’s continued commitment to keeping the roots of Carnatic music.
