Did I Ruin This Vintage Jacket... or Make It Better?

I found this beautiful vintage patterned jacket, but I couldn't stop wondering... Was turning it into a feminine babydoll blouse the right choice, or did I ruin it? Instead of letting it sit in the closet, I decided to give it a completely new life. Every cut, every stitch, and every detail was part of the transformation. What do you think?
