Swanton, OH 2001-SRN Siren Test - 10/3/25

Took the Friday before my vacation off to do some yardwork and finally get a proper video of my home siren. I bought this house in 2022 and pass this siren multiple times a day, as it's basically around the corner, but I had yet to hear it up close. My wife has actually heard it more than I have lol, from home of course. Siren is located at County Road 2 and County Road D, just across the Fulton/Lucas county line. Burns and I almost pulled a fast one in March of 2024, we did Lucas county, and hadn't heard Fulton yet so we hopped on over to this 2001 and gave dispatch a ring. They said they'd test at 12:15. Sure enough, they did, but this 2001 failed. Within a couple weeks it was fixed and it worked for SWA that year. Sirens in Fulton County are tested on the first Friday of the month at noon. They are very picky with weather, which is partially the reason why it took me this long to film this.
