Bhagavatha Amrutham 31 | Sri Krishna Damodara Leela | కుబేరుని గర్విష్ఠులైన కుమారుల కథ

Welcome to Ananda Lakshmi Studios! 🌸 Welcome to Episode 31 of our Bhagavatha Amrutham series on Ananda Lakshmi Studios. In this episode, we explore a deeply profound narrative bridging the divine play (leela) of Bhagavan Sri Krishna and the redemption of Kubera’s sons from a heavy curse, as narrated by sage Sukha to King Parikshith. Key Highlights of This Episode: 🙏The Question of Parikshith: The session begins with King Parikshith asking Sage Sukha how the sons of Kubera—a devoted follower of Lord Shiva—committed a transgression severe enough to warrant a harsh curse, and how their ultimate liberation was achieved. 🙏Arrogance of Wealth: Sukha explains that while Kubera was a devout follower of Shiva, his sons grew blinded and arrogant due to their father's immense wealth, believing their status made them immune to consequence. 🙏The Revelry on Mount Kailash: The narrative details an incident where the intoxicated sons entered the pleasure gardens on Mount Kailash alongside Apsaras, losing all self-awareness during water sports in the Mandagini river. 🙏Encounter with Sage Narada: The Apsaras quickly dressed and paid respects upon spotting the divine sage Narada, while the sons remained in an immodest and disheveled state. Moved by compassion, Narada decided to bestow his grace through liberation from their ego. 🙏Krishna’s Childhood Leela: The story transitions to young Krishna, who navigates through a tight space between trees. A horizontal mortar (rolu) catches the trailing rope as he pulls. 🙏The Uprooting of the Twin Trees: The pressure from the moving mortar causes two massive trees to crash down with a thunderous sound. 🙏Redemption of Nalakoobara and Manigriva: Emerging from the fallen trees with radiant brilliance and purified souls, Nalakoobara and Manigriva bow to Krishna, offer heartfelt prayers, and return to their heavenly realms.
