With a mere 80-foot takeoff distance, a 4,200-feet-per-minute climb, and a stall speed of around 35 mph, DRACO redefines the standards for STOL aircraft.
Start-up, taxi and depart from (YMBT) Mount Beauty Airport. It is a small civil aerodrome located one kilometer north of Mount Beauty in Victoria, Australia. Nestled at the foot of Mount Bogong, the airfield acts as a scenic gateway to High Plains, Kiowa Valley, and Falls Creek. It features a relaxed, community-oriented environment popular with visiting pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
Fly "around-about" Mount Beauty Airport and Kiowa Valley, to land, taxi, and park for arrival right back at (YMBT). Serves as a base for general aviation, gliding, ultralight operations, and model aircraft flying. Self-service AVGAS and JET-A1 fuel (supplied by IOR Aviation) are available 24 hours a day via a bowser on the southwest apron. Provides a terminal building equipped with a public toilet, shelter, and complimentary tea or coffee for visiting aviators.
