THE FOX AND THE STORK - A LESSON YOU WON'T FORGET | Dag Heward-Mills

In this teaching from a live prayer vigil, Dag Heward-Mills tells the classic story of the fox and the stork. The fox invites the stork to dinner and serves beautiful soup on a flat plate the stork's long beak can't eat from. So the stork invites the fox back and serves the same delicious soup in a tall narrow vase the fox can't reach. The point lands hard: we often don't know what we're doing to others until it's done to us. Drawing from Exodus 21 and David's confession in Psalm 51, he warns that there's an eternal law at work - you humiliate someone, you'll be humiliated. You cut someone out, you'll be cut out. It's a sobering call to watch yourself.
