Locality Review: Bowenpally, Hyderabad

Bowenpally is on the Srinagar-Kanyakumari Highway and has two main sub-regions, Old Bowenpally andNew Bowenpally. Old Bowenpally is closer to Trimlgery, while New Bowenpally is more modern and closer to the capital. Potholes in the road, drainage problems, lack of drinking water and frequent power outages are some of the shortcomings of the area. However, Bowenpally is an affordable residential suburb with good road access and many gated communities. The area has easy access to several employment hubs, one of which Balanagaris is only 6 kilometers away, and other employment hubs such as Uppal Industrial Development Area, Nacharam Industrial Development Area, Mallapur Industrial Development Area, and Hi-Tech City, which are all within a 15-kilometer radius of this locality.
