This type of lantern is called Yukimi-dōrō (雪見燈籠) or legged lantern. I am not using latex or silicone mold for this project so the umbrella is simplified with a low finial (crown/apex). The four-sided firebox is designed to house an LED bulb. This lantern is relatively small and can be placed indoors. In making this lantern, basic materials are used and no sophisticated tools.
