The brand-new RSS GT-MX Mercer Extreme V8 has just been released, and for this video I’m taking it straight into a full GT-MX race around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. 🔥 The Mercer Extreme V8 is RSS’s unrestricted, extreme interpretation of a Mercedes-AMG GT3, pushed far beyond normal GT3 regulations. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated V8 producing more than 680 hp, combined with a six-speed sequential gearbox and three selectable engine maps. It also features: • Driver-operated rear-wing DRS • Auto DRS mode • Launch control with selectable launch RPM • Automatic wet-track adaptation • Detailed multifunction cockpit display • Functional steering-wheel LEDs • Animated air jacks • Optional strict anti-stall system • High-fidelity positional V8 sound For this race, the entire grid is made up exclusively of RSS GT-MX cars, creating a field of unrestricted GT machines with more power, more aero and much more aggressive performance than conventional GT3 cars. There is no traditional Balance of Performance between the GT-MX cars either, so each machine keeps its own personality and performance characteristics. The result around the Nordschleife is exactly what you would expect: More power. More downforce. More speed. And a lot less restraint. 😈 No commentary. No music.
