#deadlock #deadlockgame #deadlockguide You'll notice that my thumbnails may be higher quality, it's because it's not me anymore! big thanks to Blanq, here's his socials: https://x.com/blanqpsd https://www.behance.net/1280px My twitch:   / thefighterjett   Discord:   / discord   Solomon is such a fun hero for me primarily because of his first ability, Setup bishop. With this ability, solomon places a massive bishop on the ground. Solomon can immediately move this bishop by holding right click, dragging the outline where he wants it to go, and releasing. When solomon moves his bishops in this way, they move in a straight line to the designated area, dealing spirit damage and a 30% slow to any enemies hit. Then, the bishops apply this chessboard area effect diagonally around them after 3 seconds. Stepping on this effect deals spirit damage, just under half the impact damage of the slide, and deals no move slow. Once you move a bishop, they gain a three second cooldown before it can be moved again. The impact damage on solomon’s bishops has a pretty hefty x2 scaling, meaning this hero needs little spirit to get going. What’s interesting about solomon’s bishops is that you can aim glide like mina when holding right click to reposition any piece that is not the king, which is really nice, because solomon really wants to stay airborne for as long as possible. As an enemy, you can tell when a bishop may be moved, because bishops only spew the damaging chessboard effect out when this timer is up. Also, all of solomon’s pieces’ move timers can be reduced by cooldown reduction, which kind of makes superior cooldown a must-buy. Also like celeste, solomon’s second ability is a barrier: Kingside knight applies a barrier and the affected ally is considered a knight piece for the buff duration. The barrier itself is rather weak, but it’s also not the point of the ability. This is because Knights gain extra stamina, and, critically, can be moved. When pieces are moving, they are invulnerable to damage and other effects, which includes things such as affliction, drifter ult, and billy ult. Promoting allies to knights is effectively a weaker cube with a far shorter cooldown. And, at max level, you can have two allies be knights at the same time. Inversely, solomon’s Kingside knight can also be self-cast, granting himself double the amount of barrier a knight would gain, but no stamina. Solomon can move himself while he is the king piece, but it’s a much shorter distance than a knight can be moved. The move distance for ALL of solomon’s pieces increases with every boon he gains. (obligatory mention of the infernus video, holiday crackshot video, and paige video I know crazy right? Unrelated but now I am going to say " Apollo ," " Venator ," " Celeste ," " Silver ," "sinclair" (because that video did way better than I expected holy crap) "Lash", "Gun Lash" " Graves ," and " Rem ". For no reason. Trust. I just felt like it.)
