Ayahuasca Retreat DJ Set | Shamanic Organic Downtempo | Maloka Sessions

Deep in the Andes of Ecuador, surrounded by San Pedro cacti, I set up my decks in front of a sacred maloka at an Ayahuasca and plant medicine retreat — and recorded what became the Maloka Sessions set. This set has been years in the making. The inspiration came from an Ayahuasca journey where the plant revealed something to me. I was shown how the vibrations and frequencies of everything around us are woven together like a symphony. The cicadas chirping, the wind moving through the trees, a mosquito passing by your ear — all of it in perfect harmony, like looking inside a Swiss clock and seeing how everything moves together. I wanted to capture that feeling in music. This is the result. The footage is as immersive as the music — close-ups of the river, insects, spiders, banana trees framing a blue sky, the sun burning directly into the lens, and drone footage of the sacred mountains at golden hour.
