Washington Wizards Defense STRUGGLES AGAIN vs the Hawks | Kyshawn George EXPLODES for 33 Points

Washington's defensive struggles continued in ANOTHER frustrating loss to the Atlanta Hawks, raising serious questions about the defensive identity Brian Keefe has been trying to establish. After looking like one of the NBA's most improved defensive teams, the Wizards have now suffered back-to-back losses to Atlanta, struggling to string together stops and consistently execute on the defensive end. There was ONE encouraging development: Tre Johnson finally looked like he regained his confidence offensively! But Alex Sarr's disappointing performance and Washington's inability to defend overshadowed the rookie's bounce-back effort. On today's Locked On Wizards, Ben Strober and Abdullah Ayubi break down another frustrating loss, the positives from Tre Johnson's performance, and why the Wizards desperately need more from Alex Sarr. 🚨 WHERE DID THE DEFENSE GO? The Wizards were recently establishing themselves as a top-10 defensive team. Now they're struggling to get consecutive stops! What has changed, and how concerned should fans be? 🔥 TRE JOHNSON BOUNCES BACK: After a difficult offensive stretch, Johnson finally showed signs of regaining his confidence. Can the rookie build on this performance and become the consistent perimeter scoring threat Washington desperately needs? 📉 ALEX SARR HAS TO BE BETTER: Washington's young big man failed to make the impact the Wizards needed. What went wrong, and how can Sarr become a more consistent contributor on both ends of the floor? 😤 DEFENSIVE REBOUNDING REMAINS A PROBLEM: The Wizards continue to struggle finishing defensive possessions. How much are second-chance opportunities hurting Washington's ability to win games? 👀 BRIAN KEEFE NEEDS ANSWERS: The Wizards have already demonstrated they can defend at a high level. So why has that defensive intensity disappeared, and what adjustments need to be made? The Wizards have plenty of offensive talent, and Tre Johnson's bounce-back performance is a reason for optimism. But if Washington wants to become a legitimate playoff contender, the DEFENSE HAS TO IMPROVE!
