Years of longing and despair are over. Finally the Salmon rivers of Scandinavia are full of fish again. We couldn't believe my luck when thousands of beautiful pink salmon started pushing up our streams. But as I set out to celebrate this long-awaited abundance, a few experts decided to step in and ruin the mood with some inconvenient ecological facts. (The poaching scene, sorry for that one, we had two licenses and I borrowed Håvard's rod for a few casts and caught an atlantic salmon.
