Justin Haley addresses driving Carson Hocevar's car following his suspension for Homestead

Spoke with Justin Haley before Truck practice about filling in for Carson Hocevar (suspension) in the Cup race this weekend. Said he found out Tuesday he'd be doing it and called it a good opportunity. "Obviously it's a bit of an awkward situation, but will try to make the most of it. I feel, really honestly, just super thankful to be driving in a Cup car again. Obviously haven't been in one since last year, so just really grateful for the opportunity." Spoke a bit more with Justin about getting back in a Spire car after having been with them through various iterations of its growth as well as some stuff about the Truck race, where he's in another one of Kaulig's new trucks. As far as his expectations for Sunday, he says he wants to go have fun with it. "I mean, I kind of was hopeful that I'd get in a Cup car again, but I'd kind of made peace with the situation and actually became really content and happy building this program here with Ram and Stellantis and Kaulig. "I think me and Luke Lambert just want to go have fun and just try to give them guys as much momentum as possible going into the offseason."
