Yoooo everyone! 🇪🇹❤️ Today I reacted to Yohana - Tama feat. Yordanos (JoJo) and wow… this was absolutely beautiful. From the very beginning, the production gave me a strong reggae feel, and I loved how relaxed and warm the whole track sounded. Yohana’s voice sat perfectly over the instrumental and the song had this really emotional, almost reflective quality to it. Even though I couldn’t fully understand the lyrics, I definitely felt like the song was centred around some kind of love or deep connection — maybe not necessarily romantic love, but love for a place, people or something meaningful. That was just the feeling I got from the music and visuals, so I’d love for my Ethiopian Clouds to explain the real meaning to me in the comments! Yohana’s vocal was beautiful throughout, but I especially loved how he switched his flow in the second verse. That change gave the track another bit of energy without taking away from the smooth vibe. And then Yordanos (JoJo) on the hook… Perfect. Her voice added such a beautiful contrast, and the call-and-response section later in the track was probably one of my favourite moments. It made the song feel even richer and more communal. I also have to shout out the production because this really does sit in a reggae lane — Shazam officially categorizes the track as reggae — but it still has its own Ethiopian identity and atmosphere. This is exactly why Yohana is becoming one of my favourite artists to discover. Every time I hear something new from him, there’s another side to his sound.
