Packers Collapse to Vikings — Concerns, Positives, & Jets Preview

The Green Bay Packers blew a 19–10 halftime lead against the Minnesota Vikings and completely fell apart late in a brutal 39–22 week 1 loss. On this episode of Dairyland Breakdown, Elijah Vangsoulatda and Matt Peck break down everything that went wrong, including the offensive line struggles, turnovers, defensive breakdowns, costly penalties, and Green Bay’s inability to close out the game. We also dive into the controversial officiating that became a major part of the fourth quarter. With Green Bay leading 22–17, the Packers appeared to get multiple third-down stops, only for penalties to extend Minnesota’s go-ahead drive. We discuss whether those calls changed the momentum of the game, while also looking at two earlier missed calls that went against Minnesota. But it wasn’t all negative. We talk about the positives from Jordan Love, Christian Watson’s HUGE 147-yard, 2-TD performance, Kraft's return, and Keisean Nixon’s strong start. Then we look ahead briefly to Week 2 against the New York Jets and what the Packers need to fix if they want to bounce back.
