One of the biggest hillclimbs out there - the Rechbergrennen brings the best European drivers with all kinds of different machinery. This edition had dusty tarmac which proved to be quite a challenge, especially the long right corner at the bottom, where the tires are still cold. Cristian Merli again showed his dominance but it was a close race as Kevin Petit finished just 0.347 behind him with Petr Trnka finishing up the podium 3.695 behind (all Nova NP01-2). Touring cars class was dominated by Ronnie Bratschi (Lancer Evo 7 RS) who finished way ahead of Nikolay Zlatkov (S1 Quattro Pikes Peak) and Reto Meisel (SLK 340 Judd).
