I started this song a few years ago as just a chord progression and a beat, and I intentionally made things simple as an homage to the older Progressive House songs that I love. I gradually added on to the idea over the years and experimented with a lot of new things such as sampling and new sound design techniques, still keeping the song simple enough but utilizing more advanced techniques as I learned them. In a way, this song has grown alongside my musical abilities over the years.
