Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS5) - Classic Difficulty Race

This particular section is notorious, with many claiming it's a 'platinum blocker' or borderline impossible to complete. I understand the frustration but it really isn't that bad, especially if you're at least partially familiar with racing games. With some practice, I believe anyone can beat it. This is my second time completing this having also finished the PS4 version. This clip was my third attempt at it having spun out early in the previous attempts. Some tips; At the very start of the race, press the touchpad to enable the speed limiter and a second or two after the race starts, press it again to turn it off. This gives you a slightly faster start off the line. Tap X as much as possible on straights, this also gives you a slight boost. Aside from this, it's racing basics - slow in, fast out. Follow your lines etc. This attempt was very sloppy, far from perfect, but I still won by a fair gap so there is some room for error. Good luck, don't give up!
