Square Dispute Operations is a RailCall module for evidence-led, governed dispute operations on Square.
This demo follows a real dispute workflow from bounded case discovery and inspection through evidence requirements, inventory, preparation, human authorization, fresh-state validation, and reconciliation.
The module is designed around a simple principle: consequential dispute actions should only execute when the required state can actually be proven.
In the demo:
• Actionable disputes are discovered and inspected using provider-backed Square data.
• Evidence requirements, existing inventory, and operational gaps are evaluated before action.
• Text evidence can be prepared without immediately mutating provider state.
• Consequential writes remain behind RailCall’s native Airlock approval boundary.
• Fresh provider state is checked before mutation, with fail-closed behavior when required context cannot be established.
• Contest preparation remains separate from execution.
• Provider states such as PROCESSING are treated as progression, not as a claim that a dispute was won.
• Uncertain outcomes are handled through authoritative rereads and reconciliation rather than blind retries.
The video includes current RailCall Studio captures together with clearly labeled historical verified evidence. Historical Station evidence demonstrates a previously successful governed evidence write, while historical direct-handler Square Sandbox evidence demonstrates a contest submission progressing to PROCESSING.
In the current captured run, the evidence inventory remained incomplete and truncated, so the module stopped rather than manufacturing certainty or forcing a consequential provider mutation.
