SAMUNJIN 사문진 | DAEGU TOUR South Korea

SAMUNJIN means a Buddhist temple because the area used to mark the gateway to a major Buddhist temple nearby named Inheungsa. A small area home to three traditional taverns that give visitors a view of what most of the Korean peninsula used to look like. The ground covering the area of the dock/tavern village isn’t much, but the history it holds makes it seem grander than it is today. Butterflies and colorful flowers were everywhere. Roses, hollyhocks, trumpet vines and many more! 🌷🌼 🦋 There were totems and a “love tree” next to the straw-thatched huts. 🌳 Near the dock, there a huge piano.
