Dreams in the Bible, part 9, Judges 7:13-14

Gideon is called by God to deliver Israel from their enemy, the Midianites. Before he leads a small army of 300 men into battle he is told by God to go down to the enemy camp at night. He hears one of the Midianites tell a dream that he had and his friend immediately interprets the dream. Its message is very encouraging to Gideon and fills him with confidence to initiate an attack against the Midianite camp. In this video we examine the context of the dream and how it was interpreted. Examining the contents of the dream and the associations that they would have had at the time we can see that the way it was interpreted would be quite natural. By understanding dreams and their messages we can receive encouragement from God to do His will in our lives.
