Why You Always Agree with the Crowd

Picture a simple question with an obvious answer. Now imagine everyone around you gives the wrong one, with total confidence. What would you say? You'd like to believe you'd speak up. But the real answer is far stranger. In this video, you'll discover the famous conformity experiments of psychologist Solomon Asch and what they revealed about the pull of the group. You'll learn why so many people went along with an answer they could clearly see was wrong, what happens in your mind when you stand alone against a crowd, and why a single dissenting voice can change everything. You'll also see how this same pressure shapes the opinions you hold, the choices you make, and the things you stay quiet about today. If this made you question your own independence, hit like, leave a comment with a time you went along with the crowd, and subscribe for more stories about the strange psychology of being human. #aschefect #aschconformity #conformity #socialpsychology #groupthink #peerpressure #psychology #psychologyexperiments #solomonasch #humanbehavior #socialinfluence #crowdpsychology #psychologyfacts #whyyouagreewiththecrowd #mindblowingfacts #educationalvideo #explainervideo #doodleanimation #humanmind #behavioralpsychology
