Americans Are REGRETTING Becoming Ultrasound Techs 😳💔 They were told becoming an ultrasound technician was a smart career move. Good money, job security, and a career in healthcare without spending years in medical school. But now some ultrasound techs are speaking out about the physical pain, burnout, demanding schedules, and emotional stress that come with the job. In this video, we're hearing directly from ultrasound technicians, also known as diagnostic medical sonographers, about what it's REALLY like working in the field. Some sonographers describe shoulder injuries, wrist and elbow pain, and years of repetitive scanning taking a toll on their bodies. Others discuss exhausting hospital shifts, pressure to scan more patients, and the emotional burden of discovering serious medical problems while being unable to give patients a diagnosis. And for some workers, the biggest concern isn't just getting through another shift. It's whether their bodies will allow them to continue working in the profession. *IN THIS VIDEO:* Why ultrasound techs say the job is harder than it looks Long shifts, overnight calls, and hospital burnout Shoulder, wrist, elbow, and hip pain from scanning The physical demands of diagnostic medical sonography The emotional toll of discovering serious medical findings Why some sonographers question their career choice How workplace injuries can threaten their income *VIDEO CLIPS & CREDITS* *SECTION 1 — IT'S NOT JUST TAKING PICTURES* 1.
