🚇🚆 Metro ⇄ HSR cross-platform transfer! Xipu Station & Chengdu-Dujiangyan Intercity experience

This video was filmed on 2023/06/09 & 2026/04/05. Xipu Station in Chengdu is a unique metro + intercity rail hybrid station and is the only one of its kind in Mainland China. Most of the other stations have separate buildings and a passageway between them. The station is designed to provide cross-platform transfer between the 2 modes. I was here in 2023, but the cross-platform transfer was suspended until 2024. Now that it is reopened, I tried the full cross-platform transfer experience (both ways) and actually took the train to Dujiangyan for sightseeing. The Chengdu-Dujiangyan Intercity is a fast and reliable way to travel between Chengdu and all of the sightseeing locations in Dujiangyan.
