#Bollywood1986Strike #BollywoodStrike #1986 #bollywood Why the whole Bollywood came on the road in 1986. In 1986, the entire Bollywood joined hands to protest against piracy. The protest had almost every Bollywood star coming together to combat the evil that was piracy which was gnawing at the roots of the industry. Pirated audio cassettes and video cassettes was a huge thing at that point of time and Bollywood was suffering huge losses because of these. The dispute was also over a tax-related decision by the state government. All shooting came to a halt. Note 1 : "Some contents are used for educational purpose under fair use.
