Leaders of Taylor | Jamie Kappelmann

Welcome back to Leaders of Taylor. This series highlights the diverse backgrounds and leadership styles of Taylor’s top executives, providing valuable lessons and inspiration for the entire organization. This month’s Leader of Taylor is Jamie Kappelmann, Vice President of Sales and Account Management for Taylor Promotional Products. From selling bread in a small Missouri bakery to leading sales and account management for Taylor Promotional Products, Jamie Kappelmann's journey is built on resilience, relationships, and a passion for helping others succeed. Growing up in Augusta, Missouri, surrounded by family, vineyards, and the lessons of hardworking parents, Jamie developed the values that continue to guide her today. After launching her career in customer service and sales, she helped grow an advertising magnet business into a multi-million-dollar operation before bringing her expertise in branded merchandise and client relationships to Taylor. Outside of work, Jamie's greatest role is being a mom to her two daughters, Ava and Sophia. In this episode, she shares her family's journey navigating rare genetic conditions, the life-changing impact of groundbreaking gene therapy, and the perspective that comes from facing life's biggest challenges. Through it all, Jamie has learned the importance of adaptability, gratitude, and slowing down to appreciate life's simplest moments. Whether she's leading a sales team, mentoring families in the special needs community, or advocating for greater awareness and resources, Jamie approaches every challenge with determination, compassion, and a belief that growth often comes from life's most difficult moments.
