The Closest I’ve Ever Felt to Tibet | Tso Moriri, Jhangthang & Drukpa Nomads

Today we explored the breathtaking beauty of Tso Moriri Lake, one of the most peaceful and stunning places in Ladakh. From there, we visited the relaxing Phuka Hot Springs, surrounded by the vast landscapes of Changthang. As the sun set, we had the blessing of meeting many Drukpa nomad families. We shared a simple dinner with them and celebrated with Gorshey, the traditional Tibetan circle dance. Their warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit made this an unforgettable experience. Although I have never been to Tibet, every moment in Changthang touched my heart. The vast grasslands, the mountains, the nomadic lifestyle, our language, culture, and traditions made me feel deeply connected to the homeland I have always dreamed of.
