Şanlıurfa'nın 14 km kuzeydoğusunda, Harran Ovası'na bakan bir sırtta, henüz tarım yapmayan insanlar yaklaşık 11.500 yıl önce dev T biçimli dikilitaşlar diktiler. Göbeklitepe bir tapınak mıydı, bir köy mü? Tarım mı anıtları doğurdu, anıtlar mı tarımı? Bu belgeselde soruya üç yerden bakıyoruz: bir tepe (Göbeklitepe), bir dağ (Karacadağ) ve bir köy (Çayönü). Radyokarbon tarihleri, öğütme taşlarındaki mikroskobik aşınma ve fitolitler, Grönland buz çekirdeği, siyezin DNA'sı ve domuz kemikleri bize ne söylüyor? Taş Tepeler'deki yeni buluntular, kuyruklu yıldız ve “12.000 yıllık kayıp uygarlık” iddiaları da kanıtla birlikte. Canlandırmalar ve şemalar temsilîdir; ekranda rozetle işaretlenmiştir.
