Dreamspell is a modern system developed by José and Lloydine Argüelles. It combines 20 Solar Seals with 13 Galactic Tones to form 260 unique Galactic Signatures, known as kin. Each Solar Seal represents a particular archetype and field of meaning, while each Galactic Tone describes one stage in a thirteen-part process. Together, they create an interwoven journey through birth, spirit, transformation, growth, relationship, awareness and illumination. Dreamspell draws upon Mesoamerican calendrical concepts while presenting its own modern spiritual, philosophical and artistic system. It should be understood separately from the traditional calendars and teachings of living Maya peoples. THE WIND ARCHETYPE White Wind is the second of the 20 Solar Seals, following Red Dragon in the Dreamspell sequence. Dragon brings life into being, and Wind gives that life breath, spirit and a voice. The three central qualities of Wind are: Communicate • Breath • Spirit Wind represents the passage between the invisible inner world and shared expression. Like air moving through leaves, Wind becomes known through what it touches and sets into motion. It carries thoughts, feelings, truth and inspiration into the world through breath, speech and communication. Wind also teaches the importance of listening. Honest communication depends upon creating space where another voice can be received. Through speaking and listening, Wind helps what was once silent become understood and shared. THE THIRTEEN WINDS 1. Magnetic Wind — Purpose A message begins to gather. Magnetic Wind draws breath, spirit and communication toward a single purpose. 2. Lunar Wind — Challenge Communication encounters resistance. Lunar Wind explores the tension between what wants to be expressed and what remains difficult to say. 3. Electric Wind — Service The voice becomes active in service to others. Electric Wind uses communication to connect, support and build relationships. 4. Self-Existing Wind — Form Breath and inspiration are shaped into understandable words. Self-Existing Wind gives structure and clarity to expression. 5. Overtone Wind — Radiance The voice becomes confident, visible and empowering. Overtone Wind communicates with authority and carries a message outward. 6. Rhythmic Wind — Equality Communication finds a balanced rhythm. Rhythmic Wind encourages fairness in speaking, listening and exchanging ideas. 7. Resonant Wind — Attunement Communication becomes inspired and finely tuned. Resonant Wind listens deeply for the message moving through the silence. 8. Galactic Wind — Integrity Words, values and actions come into harmony. Galactic Wind models communication that is honest, coherent and trustworthy. 9. Solar Wind — Intention The message gains direction and momentum. Solar Wind focuses breath and spirit toward a clear intention. 10. Planetary Wind — Manifestation The invisible message becomes fully expressed. Planetary Wind brings communication into a tangible and completed form. 11. Spectral Wind — Liberation Old patterns of silence and restricted expression are released. Spectral Wind clears the way for a freer voice and more open communication. 12. Crystal Wind — Cooperation Individual voices join in shared expression. Crystal Wind supports dialogue, collaboration and the collective voice of a community. 13. Cosmic Wind — Presence Breath settles into enduring presence. Cosmic Wind carries the accumulated journey of all twelve previous tones into a complete and timeless expression. Together, the thirteen Winds trace the development of communication from the first stirring of a message through challenge, service, structure, empowerment, balance, listening, integrity, intention, expression, release and cooperation—culminating in a voice grounded in enduring presence.
