NS 8143 (America250 - Patriot) Leading NS 31Q Out Of Elkhart, IN! 10-07-26

I received a heads up that NS 8143 was to lead train 31Q out of Elkhart later on in the day, so I made my way up to the west end of the yard to see if I could get it. After waiting several hours, the crew had finally gone on duty and got onto the power and took it to their train. Just after sunset, they departed the yard and began their westward journey, leaving some of my friends and I with only minutes of daylight left to get the thing. Pretty sweet to see this unit, as it was still in fresh paint after only being released from the Juniata paint shop just less than a week prior. Enjoy the video!
