Rising river water levels in Bihar have brought life to a standstill in many areas; in some places, breached embankments have allowed water to surge into villages, while elsewhere, floodwaters have entered homes. The situation is such that people are facing the challenge of finding shelter, securing food, and keeping their children safe. Now, let us show you the situation in Champaran... the mounting pressure of the Gandak River has become a cause for concern for the local residents... Late on the night of September 29, the Champaran embankment breached between Ratwal and Rajwatia in Bagaha... meanwhile, the embankment in Bairiya, Bettiah, also suffered damage spanning approximately 5 meters... On one hand, water is surging into low-lying areas due to the breach; on the other, the Gandak continues to exert pressure on the Patjirwa-Dumaria PD ring embankment... In short, the danger is not confined to a single location—it exists on multiple fronts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- बिहार और झारखंड के ताज़ा ख़बरों के लिए देखते रहिए News18 Bihar/Jharkhand #news18biharjharkhand #latestnews #BiharJharkhandnews For all the latest news from Bihar and Jharkhand, keep watching News18 Bihar Jharkhand LIVE TV on YouTube.
