Fishing Skokie Lagoons with Maemae

June 22, 2023. It is so fun watching my daughter get excited about fishing! Salmon fishing has gotten more challenging as the water temperatures rise and the season progresses. It's a great opportunity to target smaller fish on calmer waters. The Skokie Lagoons are man made ponds that are connected; some are as deep as 15' in areas. Most of the lagoons are 4-6'.
