I wrote and performed an original verse inspired by Connor Price’s “Too Easy” — adding new lyrics, perspective, and personal experiences.
This is a remix reinterpretation — new lyrics, new perspective, same confident energy.
Not a cover. Not karaoke. An original verse extension.

— Verse Concept & Meaning —
This verse was written as a natural extension of the message behind “Too Easy” — the idea that people often see the highlights but rarely see the work that created them. 🎯
Connor’s original track centers around a powerful contradiction:
People think success looks easy.
The reality is that it usually takes years of effort, consistency, and repetition before anyone notices.
My verse explores that same concept from a personal perspective. 🚗🌴🎤
The opening section immediately shifts the scene away from pressure and competition and into freedom:
"Drive 'round in a drop top
Cruisin' through the metro"
The imagery is simple and intentional.
This isn't about luxury for the sake of bragging. It's about enjoying the ride after putting in the work.
The next lines:
"Hair's not blowin' in the wind
Got a cap, that's the dress code"
add a little humor and personality.
Not every line has to be deep. Some lyrics simply create a picture.
The dolphin logo represents Miami - home of the Miami Dolphins. 🐬
Instead of trying to guess where the setting is, i clearly state it. The verse reps the city, the town that Im from. Its easily recognizeable
"Dolphin on the logo
Everybody knows though"
is less about fame and more about consistency.
People recognize authenticity.
They recognize patterns.
They recognize something that's been built over time.
As the verse progresses, the focus shifts toward music and motivation.
"That'll never be me
On the radio
Never been my goal"
This is one of the most important moments in the verse.
Many artists start chasing exposure, playlists, charts, radio spins, or trends.
This line flips that idea completely.
The goal was never mainstream validation.
The goal was always creating.
Always writing.
Always improving.
Always building.
🎤✍️
That mindset leads directly into the heart of the verse:
"Couple hundred verses
Only a couple rise to the surface"
This line reflects a reality that most creators understand.
People often see one song.
One video.
One successful moment.
What they don't see are the hundreds of attempts that came before it.
The songs nobody heard.
The verses nobody shared.
The recordings that never left the hard drive.
The work beneath the surface. 🌊
That imagery ties directly back into the theme of "Too Easy."
People see the visible result.
They don't see the hidden foundation.
The final lines bring everything together:
"Don't care if you notice
But listen close you'll know I wrote this"
This isn't a statement about recognition.
It's a statement about identity.
After writing enough music, artists develop fingerprints.
A style.
A voice.
A rhythm.
A perspective.
Something that makes the work unmistakably theirs.
🎶
The message isn't:
"Look at me."
The message is:
"If you've been paying attention, you'll recognize the signature."
That's what makes this verse fit naturally inside the world of "Too Easy."
It's not about chasing attention.
It's about putting in the work long enough that the work eventually speaks for itself.
💯
This verse isn't meant to replace Connor Price's vision.
It's meant to live alongside it — honoring the original theme while adding a personal perspective built around consistency, independence, and creative identity.

Let's go, let's go
Drive 'round in a drop top
Cruisin' through the metro
Hair's not blowin' in the wind
Got a cap, that's the dress code
Dolphin on the logo
Everybody knows though
Windows down, bass up
Ridin' smooth in slow-mo
Let's go, let's go
That'll never be me
On the radio
Never been my goal
Couple hundred verses
Only a couple rise to the surface
Don't care if you notice
But listen close, you'll know I wrote this
