A glorious day fishing the River Wye

River Wye, Barbel Heaven. As a keen Barbel angler that regularly fishes the River Kennet, where it is difficult to catch Barbel these days, where you face numerous blanks, it’s wonderful to spend a day on the River Wye catching a few. I returned to the River at Bartonsham on an October day, with the River low and clear to catch 5 and 8 chub in a wonderful afternoon session.
