Situated at the northern end of the "Numazu Alps," it is a beloved spot for local residents to relax and enjoy hiking. Key Features and Highlights • Spectacular Observation Deck: The observation deck near the summit offers panoramic views of downtown Numazu and Suruga Bay; on clear days, you can even see Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps. • Koryodai: Located halfway up the mountain, this open area features a five-story pagoda (memorial tower) dedicated to the war dead. It is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot in spring, boasting approximately 2,000 trees. • Seasonal Nature: Visitors can enjoy flowers and foliage throughout the year, including cherry blossoms in spring, foxgloves and hydrangeas in early summer, and autumn leaves. • Hiking Courses: There are accessible walking routes, such as the path from the trailhead through Koryodai to the summit, as well as a loop course that passes by a plaza with playground equipment.
