Adalaj Stepwell: A Marvel of Ancient Architecture in Gujarat

The architecture of the step well is amazing and the stone carvings, sculptures are wonderful. We wonder how Indians of that time made this wonderful and symmetrical architecture without any machines. The place has a specialty that, when someone goes downward, he / she can feel temperature difference between upstairs and downstairs. The more Down you go you can feel the temperature is lower than the outside temperature. Basically, the structure is made like that to feel cooler in downward. The Entry fees is 25/- ₹ per adult person and There's also separate ticket for camera. A good place to visit for all.
