Not only that, but this anime quickly skyrocketed to being one of my favorite tv shows of all time. And not only did I become fully engrossed in the insane action set pieces, epic plot twists, and surprisingly rich and nuanced conflict at the heart of this show, but it fundamentally changed me as a person.. I've never seen something that so dramatically reinvents itself as it goes along. Whatever it was about this title that stuck in my brain for the past few years that encouraged me to blindly watch it as the first anime I wanted to try... Thank you. Even dipping my toe further into the pool that is anime, this is unlike anything else I've seen. And today, I wanted to talk about why -- Maybe I can get you to give the show a watch, or if you've already seen it, maybe you can get some secondhand enjoyment watching someone who was so adverse to trying out this medium get sucked right in, discovering all the twists and turns for the first time.
